I remember looking at purchasing a Jeep Wrangler more than 10 years ago and quickly dropping the idea when I realized how pricey they were. The Wrangler is not an upscale version of other Jeeps in the same way that the Miata isn’t a fancy Mazda. You pay a premium for it’s popularity. And even though I bought mine at an auction, I paid way more than I had expected to pay for it. The story of my Jeep is still being written. Currently I’m performing basic maintenance on it, and there are a lot of parts that need fixing. I’m sure once it is all sorted out I will write in detail about the experience. I am looking forward to meeting other Wrangler enthusiasts now that I’m part of that community, and hoping to contribute to it with my 2 cents.
